Resource: proof points for active school travel

Illustration of children using active transport to get to school

This resource provides a series of ‘proof points’ using national and international evidence on children’s active school travel (i.e., getting to or from school using active travel modes such as walking, biking, scootering, or wheeling using other modes). These proof points do not provide an exhaustive list of literature – rather, key studies, international literature reviews, and evidence from Aotearoa New Zealand have been highlighted.
